Summer’s biggest block party is back! This year, Portland Sunday Parkways presented by Kaiser Permanente is celebrating its Sweet 16th anniversary with three in-person events. Join your neighbors and the community for this special occasion, as Portland’s streets will be closed to traffic so you can bike, walk, roll, and play.

11 am – 4 pm

The East Portland 3.3-mile down and back route will take Sunday Parkways into neighborhoods and parks that you may never have been before, such as Gateway Discovery Park. You can hop on at any point and head in any direction you choose.

Northeast Cully

The Northeast Cully 6.2-mile looped route rises significantly as one travels from North to South, so if it gets a bit taxing, take a break and drink some water.

Southwest Portland

The new Southwest route will feature a 2-mile multi-modal route along with a 1.5-mile walking route. Take in Gabriel Park as you stroll along the flat walking route or enjoy the wind in your hair as you ride the neighborhood hills.

Kaiser Permanente Sticker Hunt

During each of our 3 events this year (May 7, June 25, and September 10), the Kaiser Permanente Sticker Hunt will inspire you to get your body moving while also having a load of family-friendly fun as you explore the city and earn rewards.

Here’s How to Play

  1. Download a Sticker Hunt map or pick one up at any Kaiser Permanente sticker hunt stop.
  2. During each Sunday Parkways event, visit all locations on the map.
  3. Do the activity at each of the 4 Kaiser Permanente sticker hunt stops to receive a sticker for your map.
  4. Bring your completed map (4 stickers) to any Kaiser Permanente sticker hunt stops to receive a KP bike bell.
  5. PLAY, CONNECT, MOVE, and NOURISH all summer long!
